Having trained and certified more than 50 professionals over the years, for most of whom he remains a personal mentor, a professional course covers all necessary theoretical knowledge and in-water practice according to the highest standards and latest trends of the industry.

Attending and completing the SSI Instructor Trainer seminar in Malta in 2021, led by International Training Director Marco Gervasi & in supervision of International Training manager Ronny Kain, earned Dimitris the rank of SSI Instructor Trainer, continuing his successful trajectory of professional development.

Apart from the SSI Dive Guide / Divemaster, Assistant Instructor and Open Water Scuba Instructor ranks, he also teaches a number of specialty programs among which are Deep, Wreck, Cavern & Enriched Air Diving, Perfect buoyancy, Underwater photography & videography, Night & Limited Visibility, Stress & Rescue etc.

why become an instructor

A Dive Guide/ Divemaster, is qualified to lead divers and assist instructors in the delivery of courses. By continuing further and becoming an instructor, you will be authorised to independently teach and certify divers from beginner level all the way to the rank of a Dive guide / Divemaster.
